We are in the early phases of a mass extinction of life on earth. This is the sixth mass extinction since the creation of the earth. The last one saw the end of the dinosaurs. Unless we act very quickly we will cause our own mass extinction, along with that of most of the other plants and animals that share this planet with us. this is because human industry is changing the climate and pushing it our of equilibrium. If we do not act now to re-shape our cultures, society and our economies it will be too late to stop the earth tripping into a new, much hotter and more hostile equilibrium which it will be impossible for human beings to reverse.
The new paradigm of consciousness which we are undergoing allows us to see this as an immediate opportunity to apply all of our latent creativity to reversing the damage we are doing but only if we act now.
